The present PM has promised to guarantee Thaksin’s safety. “He won’t be taken into custody.”
There has been no comment from Thaksin in exile, although his wife failed to show up to face the charges. This was her third and final time and now the police can drag her to court. This extreme measure might be difficult since she is undergoing medical treatment in Singapore.
Thaksin’s a man on the run.
