Big Cars Times Square

Back in 1975 the population of the USA was approximately 220 million. Our cars were big and the price of gas was 60 cents a gallon. Manhattan was slightly depopulated from White Flight, so driving through Times Square was fun in a big Detroit car.

We also drove big cars, because they were made to take a hit.

Oh, for the good old days.

I had previously posted two fotos of JE Coleman without permission.

My apologies to the photographer and thanks as well.

They show another time and place.

What we call ‘back then’.
