McDonalds has initiated a legal proceeding against the Oxford Dictionary for the addition of ‘McJob’ into its latest edition. The fast-food giant claims that its jobs are not meaningless and the term coined by Douglas Copeland should be excised from the dictionary.
Someone without a McJob went to work at a Moscow franchise and stole the ex-prime minister’s suitcase. His total lost of 1.2 million baht was more than offset by the satisfaction derived from a Happy Meal. Thaksin was in the Russian capitol to receive an honorary science degree from the Harpo Marx Institute. The degree may have been stolen along with his possessions and police suspect that the thief was an unemployed scientist seeking a better status for his job search.
Senor Thaksin is now traveling on temporary documents.
Expiration date 30 days.
UK police have been alerted to the possibility of his overstaying his visa.
