Bangkok Airport sinking into Cobra Swamp

The recent news from Suvarnabhumi International Airport has not been auspicious. Repairs to the runways have been halted until a study can determine the actual cause of the tarmac cracks. Debris on the eastern runway forced its shutdown on Thursday with some planes diverted to an alternative airport.

Arriving passengers must have asked themselves, “Why the heck are we?”

The answer was Suvarnabhumi International Airport South Annex aka U-Tapao Airport.

Many people believe the fault lies with the corruption of the previous Prime Minister’s government, but the sinking of the airport could have been solved by building a golf course in the center of the runways like the Kantarat Golf Course at old Don Muang and pumping the seeping water into water hazards.

Too late for that now or is it? Fore!

Cobra Swamp GC.

Better than having a remake of SNAKES ON A PLANE in real life although the enw airprot is a land-based version of THE TITANIC.

It too was built to never sink
