Still no government

It’s been almost two months since the last election decided that no one should govern Thailand. Neither the TRT, the Democrats, nor the various other factions politically gained from this closure of the Senate. Strangely the bureaucracy still functions. Mail gets delivered, bars are closed at the proper hours, and occasionally a minister announces a new plan to the public, who realize that the exalted big man has no real power anymore. Supposedly there won’t be another election until November, which means another 4-5 months of anarchy.

Not bad.
