I Love London

Mitt Romney set off from America to visit the UK and Israel.

Stopping in London to visit Prime Minister Cameron the GOP candidate, who supervised the 2002 Utah Winter Games, criticized the the London’s Olympics by saying, “The stories about the private security firm not having enough people, the supposed strike of the immigration and customs officials — that obviously is not something which is encouraging. Do they come together and celebrate the Olympic moment? And that’s something which we only find out once the games actually begin.”

The British press and the PM were quick to respond to the slight with Cameron saying,

“We are holding an Olympic Games in one of the busiest, most active, bustling cities anywhere in the world. Of course, it’s easier if you hold an Olympic Games in the middle of nowhere.”

ie Utah = nowhere.

And London Mayor Boris Johnson shouted out to a crowd of 60,000 in Hyde Park. “There is a guy called Mitt Romney who wants to know if we are ready. Yes, we are.”

In reality no they aren’t, but they’ll discover how much they aren’t in the next few days.
