The ex-PM’s children are being investigated for corruption for their part of the Shin Corp sale. His wife is under threat for a land deal. And the junta has listed a number of transactions singed off by Herr Thaksin during his reign.
Now a new insult.
His diplomatic passport has been revoked by the ruling government.
No more access to embassies or free seats on Thai Air.
He’s the same as anyone else with a billion dollars salted away in a Swiss bank.
