Thais eat insects of all sizes.
Larva, crickets, scorpions, giant waterbugs.
During a promotional visit to Liverpool the Bangkok Governor was invited to the Beatles Museum. he resisted smacking his lips, but was disappointed to discover English Beatles had nothing to do with food. A smile hid his chagrin, as schoolchildren sang ‘Ob La Di Ob La Da’.
He’ll have to wait until he gets back home before tucking into a plate of fried beetles.
