Eliot Spitzer was elected governor of New York with the image of a corruption fighter. The former prosecutor arrived in Albany with the goal of reforming state government. His self-righteousness earned him enemies in every camp and they gloated with glee upon discovering that the Democratic governor had been implicated in an extremely expensive prostitution ring ie he was a ‘john’. No one likes kicking someone when they’re down better than the Press and especially since Spitzer had ruthlessly prosecuted 18 people for such prostitution during his tenure as Manhattan Attorney General.
Busted and even better he was paying $4000/hour for his rendezvouses with this women.

There’s no way you have to pay $4000/hour for normal sex.
Eliot was into some serious kinky stuff and he could have saved himself a fortune by coming to Pattaya. First-class flight, girls for three days, and 5-Star hotel would come to $4000. And no one would have said a word, because he’d be just another bald middle-aged sex tourist. I see his lookalike at least 30 times a day.
