Last week the USA passed the 300 million mark in population. This milestone threatens neither the Gold winner China and Silver medalist India. Both are over a billion, however for sheer body mass and consumption America easily surpasses the newcomers to world supremacy.

An Indian weighs 45 kil0rams, while Americans average 90kg.

The sub-continent’s weight total comes to 45 billion kilos verus approximately 30 billion for the fifty states without counting 20 million illegal aliens chowing on rice and beans for a possible 5 billion kilos.

China remains slightly in the lead, however the baby boomers and their spawn are ballooning into obese non-humans more suitable for a main course for carnivorous extra-terrestials than the beach boys and GTO girls of my youth.

In 1967 the USA hit 200,000,000. You could park everywhere. The speed limit in Montana was posted as ‘WHATEVER IS REASONABLE AND PROPER’. The shoreline was free of development and orange trees blosomed in Hollywood. There were only 4 TV station and that the radio played the Velvet Underground, pop, and soul. Gas was 26 cents/gallon. Very few people were fat or old.

I recently watched GIMME SHELTER, the documentary about the Rolling Stones 1969 tour ending at Altamount.

The only fat people were the band Canned Heat and the naked guy who gets killed by the Hell’s Angel. Everyone else was skinny, not like kids today.

My nephew’s fat friend had a heart attack at age 12.

I thought that obesity would curtail sex to prevent overcrowding, however the rejection of hedonism due to the religious right led to a biblical lust for sacred sex. Faith leads to hoping your children go to heaven with the Second Coming.Unlike moribund Europe, American women are birthing at a rate over 2.1 kids per family and wetbacks are flooding over the borders. China’s birthrate is 1.7. Meaning that somewhere in the next twenty years the USA will outweigh the Middle Kingdom, for scientists are predicted that the population will reach the 400,000,000 mark within 30 years
