Also I have to retract my statements about Sara Palin’s book-banning.
According the Newsweek the list is a fake and I fell for the scam of liberal bloggers like a rube from Ft. Kent Maine.
Newsweek purports that Palin never asked for books to be banned, citing that many of the books on the list aren’t even in print, although the weekly news magazine confirms that the Wasilla mayor approached the town librarian on two occasions about potential bannings.
‘What would your response be if I asked you to remove some books from the collection?’
Palin has explained that the question was merely hypothetical.
The list of banned books comes from the Florida Institute of Technology library Web page, which presents the list as “Books banned at one time or another in the United States.”
