Aljazeera tv : Your predecessor, Thaksin Shinawatra, was criticised for a pretty brutal campaign against Muslim fighters in southern Thailand. Many people who were innocent were caught up in that violence. Do you support his policies in southern Thailand?
Samak : Actually, he doesn’t mention any policy. The wrong […]

A UK survey exposed that 43% of English men keep on their soxes during sex. The findings did not reveal the why, however I lived in London during the autumn of 1977. My girlfriend, Lisa, was a model. Blonde and small-framed, David Bailey liked to photograph her. I think nude. She rented a posh studio […]

I often hitch-hiked across the USA in the 70s. Sometimes for pleasure. Sometimes out of necessity. Pleasure and necessity combined forces in August 1972. A fellow BC student Neil Nepola was visiting his girlfriend, Vickie, in Tulsa. His BMW was our ride and I thumbed through the Midwest spurred by the dreams of driving through […]

In oct. 2007 a flawless 6.04 carat blue diamond was auctioned in London for nearly $7,000,000. The emerald-cut diamond broke the previous price per carat records in the diamond industry. The bidding lasted 8 minutes. Blink and gone.
If this stone went for seven million, then you have to ask how much the infamous 70-carat blue […]

The Italian Synod of Bishops had dipped into its bottomless fount of morality with an appeal for actors and actresses to resist any and all “vulgar and destructive” cinematic erotic scenes. The plea was issued after the release of CAOS CALMO with a classically classified ‘gratuitous’ sex scene. This exhibition of the actress Isabella Ferrari’s […]

The best hamburger in the world came from Simpson’s Grove outside Portland. No trace of this heavenly hamburger stand exists on the internet. The buns were toasted, the sauce was a mild relish/ketchup combo, cheddar cheese melting over the edges, and an all-beef pattie sizzling with grilled fat. Yummy.
The best steak came from a trip […]

Prior to his election in 2000, GW Bush’s single sojourn outside the USA was a tequila tasting trip to Mexico as Texas Governor. A Mescal hang-over and Montezuma’s Revenge taught the future-president a vaulable lesson. “Nothing like leaving America to prove it’s the best place in the world.”
During his two terms GW Bush has visited Japan, Korea, Red China, Jordan, Australia, the […]

My first years were spent in a house in Maine. The road deadended onto Casco Bay. Seagulls were the predominant bird of flight. Their call continues to evoke childhood memories of the North Atlantic, however they were replaced by a much more disturbing noise with a family move in 1960. My father had a new […]

A lingering image of the Iraq War is the video of a $1,000,000 smart missile taking out a crapped-out truck on a desert bridge. Cost-effective considering that US troops annually shoot over a billion bullets. One billion bullets is just a little trigger happy. This gun-crazyitis comes from the top, as GW Bush now wants […]

I found this wacky website spoofing wikpedia thanks to friskdude in Pai
It offers a Bizarro vista of Thailand.
Here’s the intro.
Thailand is a very sexy country in Suwannabhumi, in the polar regions near the equator. Everyone in Thailand wears a thai, both men and women, as casual clothing is one of the country’s most favorite sports. […]
