“Lassie come home.”
Boy, I cried hearing that call from the silver screen.
Thaksin Shinawatra probably felt the same upon reading that Thailand DSI or Dept of Special Investigation has demanded the former PM appear in court to face corruption charges along with his wife. The head of the department declared, “If they are abroad, they will […]

“God speaks through the Pope.” The pastor’s words rang […]

Occasionally the question arises. “If you could go back and change something in your life, where would you go?”
Stupid question, but if I were granted that click on the heels, I would return instantly to 5th Grade to slap that kid staring out the window during English lessons and tell him pay attention, because you’re going to […]

Every weekend the police set up a roadblock to catch motorcycle thiEves and incarcerate drug suspects. The cops never stop car drivers, so the usual round-up consists of young people out for fun. Anyone whose piss turns ‘purple’ gets a trip down to Soi 9 for processing.

Phra Payom Kalayano, the well-known abbot of Wat Suan Kaew, is selling edible ‘’Jatukham’’ (four-bite) cookies to ridicule the public craze for Jatukarm Ramathep talismans. “Smile, you’re on camera.”
The plague of CCTV cameras is spreading across Pattaya. My local, Janet’s Bar, on Soi Excite has installed a CCTV over the bar. Any activities within the bar is recorded and saved for 24 hours, to help solve crimes. Last night Nick and I paid Nookie, the bartender, to air our drinking […]
